It's a dump. A summer dump. Lots of adventure. Lots going on. Never enough time to write all the stories I want to. Anybody want to fully replace my current income so I can focus on this full time? No? Didn't think so. #sigh
In May, EWB returned and we wandered up Snoqualmie Mountain. He took the slow way down, but Tink and I had an epic glissade through the bowl.
The blue skies disappeared and we had a VERY wet walk. Gotta love the new lines of waterproof Deuter backpacks.
The sun returned for a couple of trips in late July. Dungeon is always a fun off-trail adventure above Lake Lillian. The Garfield Meadows taught the boy difficulty is all about stats. We had a ton of route finding, but were rewarded with a gorgeous tarn all to ourselves.
Another Middle Fork trip to a lake I'd never visited made Tink happy and a wander outside Ellensburg let us dry off.
📍 All this was on the lands of the Snoqualmie, Wenatchi, and Yakama peoples.
