Treen didn't care, though. She was bored. She and the other dogs were banned from the snack area, though that didn't stop some of them from attempting to eat an entire summer sausage still wrapped in plastic. I think it would have been a good bit of SCIENCE to see what happened, but the vet bill might have been a little steep.

So instead of eating plasticized sausage we drank a bit of gløgg (no offense, but it wasn't the same as last year) and then blazed a new trail back to the cars because, well, we didn't come up the right way anyway. Again.

Next year, we're hoping to actually go straight to the lake. Stay tuned, but I wouldn't bet on it.
