A long weekend for short legs

Again?

Friday? Let's go walk in the snow. Wait? Snow? Yeah. Freak lowland snowstorm left a favorite shorty with an inch of sloppy snow. Tink loved it. Of course. That's her thing. Tilly was tentative at first, but then was romping alongside Tinkham. Well, when she could keep up.

Saturday! Into the woods! No snow, but a waterfall! Weird for Tillicum, I'm sure. It's a strange waterfall, too. More a slide than a fall. And a little walking uphill. And when it was time to go down, Tilly was moving!

Sunday was the swamp. I mean, not real swamp. It wasn't hot and the mud wasn't too deep. I did have to carry Tilly across a creek at the beginning, but that's what I'm for, right? Plus lots of plants and flowers to look at/sniff/munch.

Monday wasn't the weekend, but there was still time to hike. We walked through sand, saw a snake (!), and watched as Tink chased sticks in the river. Tilly even put her tiny toes into the water. Not sure she was stoked, but she will be.

📍 On the lands of the Snoqualmie people.
